I recently read a blog from Walt Mueller, a youth culture expert living in Elizabethtown, who decided that he would ride 50 miles on his bicycle to celebrate his 50th birthday. By mid-day, Walt was in a Hershey hospital with multiple broken ribs, a punctured lung and a broken collarbone to name a few of his injuries. Although on the upswing from his late July accident Walt does have some very long days. You can read more of Walt's story here: The Center for Parent and Youth Understanding).
